She called because her pool had zero circulation and there was a small leak coming from the top of the filter.
Our owner went to see about this problem. He found the filter pressure was very high, over 35 psi. He took apart the filter to clean it since regular backwashing wouldn't help this. Upon doing this, he found busted parts and had to replace the top manifold. The grids were in good condition. To stop the leak at the top of the filter, he had to replace the air bleed internal assembly. After putting it all back together and adding DE to the filter through the skimmer, the pool ran with great circulation and zero leaks at the filter.
