This homeowner called stating the top half of his filter was cracked at the rim.

When we arrived, we discovered he was using a cartridge filter. In the Greater Dallas area, a DE filter is preferred because of soil conditions. He had an 80 square-foot cartridge filter which we replaced with a new 60 square-foot filter and backwash valve. He was very pleased as it was actually less money than the cartridge filter for his pool.
