Why did the customer contact us?

The customer called after noticing the pool pump motor leaking at the bottom of the impeller housing. The motor also was making a strained noise. The homeowner wrapped white duct tape around the area that was leaking before calling us.

Solutions provided:

The owner went to the house to investigate these issues and found an array of problems. He had to replace the seal and O-ring in the pool pump, replaced the pool pump motor, the seal plate, the impeller (not the housing), the pool pump lid, pump O-ring and replaced the timer. After those repairs, the pool ran properly.
